Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By creating a Verichi account or using the service, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and the organization you represent.

2. What Verichi is

Verichi is a decision-support tool. It cross-references professional claims across sources supplied by you and public technical evidence, and produces a consistency report.

Verichi does not determine truthfulness, does not detect deception, and does not make hiring recommendations or decisions.

3. Responsible use obligations

You must not use a Verichi report as the sole basis for an adverse employment decision.

You must maintain human review of every report before acting on it.

You must have a lawful basis for submitting candidate information and must comply with applicable employment, data-protection and anti-discrimination law in your jurisdiction.

You must not use Verichi to evaluate candidates on protected characteristics, or to attempt to infer them.

4. Prohibited use

You must not submit information you are not permitted to process, attempt to access other accounts' data, reverse engineer the service, or resell reports as a standalone screening product without a written agreement.

5. Accuracy and limitations

Reports reflect only the sources supplied and the public evidence available at the time of analysis. Absence of public evidence is not evidence of a false claim and does not reduce a candidate's score.

Verichi makes no warranty that a report is complete or free of error, and provides the service on an 'as is' basis to the fullest extent permitted by law.

6. Accounts and billing

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping credentials secure. Paid plans renew monthly until cancelled; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.

7. Intellectual property

Verichi retains all rights in the platform. You retain all rights in the information you submit and in reports generated for your account.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Verichi is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for hiring outcomes arising from your use of reports. Aggregate liability is limited to the fees paid in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, particularly the responsible use obligations in section 3.
